If those are some of the things Christians pray for, how do they pray? They pray together. Christians are group beings. Although we are individually accountable to God and individually relate to him, yet we live our life as Christians in fellowship with the others. That is God’s great plan – to have a people, a family, a body, a church that is his.

So we meet together, we minister together, we pray together. We encourage each other together.

As we start out on a new stage of our life together at Christ the King, we need to pray. For some of us it is scary. For all of us it is a challenge. There is lots that is unknown, uncertain. There will be difficulties. We will need to encourage, support and pray for each other.

That is why I am encouraging each of us into a Prayer Partner Network. Actually a Prayer Partner and Encourager Network. This means having at least one person (outside your family) whom you will pray for, who will pray for you, and the two of you will agree together to pray for the ministries of Christ the King.

Each week we can ask each other, “What would you like me to pray for you this week?”. Catching up will help us to encourage each other, help us through difficult patches and give us cause for thanksgiving.  Please join in.
